It is with heavy hearts that we say farewell to our friend and colleague, Chris. We are all deeply saddened by his passing and will feel his absence profoundly. Chris was, in every sense of the word, a mountain of a man. His physical presence was matched only by the vastness of his character. He possessed a quiet, undeniable strength that one could always rely on. In a world that often feels complicated and uncertain, Chris was a pillar of stability. He had a no-nonsense approach to life that we all came to respect and, frankly, depend on. He cut through the noise, spoke with honesty, and approached every challenge with straightforward determination that was both refreshing and inspiring. To his peers, he was more than just a colleague; he was a trusted ally and a steady hand. His word was his bond, and his guidance was always sought after. He had a unique ability to listen, assess situations with clear-eyed pragmatism, and offer solutions that were as simple as they were effective. You always knew where you stood with Chris, and that unwavering authenticity is a rare and valued gift. We will miss his strength of character. We will miss his directness. We will miss the quiet confidence he brought into every room. The landscape of our work and our lives feels a little less steady without him. Though he is gone, the foundation he helped lay and the respect he earned from us all will endure. He will be deeply, deeply missed by all his colleagues.
